At Web Alliance, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to help us create AI Plugins for Architecture Software and also help us developing Architecture software for our Real Estate customers in the UK/USA. The incumbent is expected to bridge the gap between the requirement(s) of the client including Architects/builders/contractors and the Product Engineering Team.  The candidate shall be responsible to help and guide the Product Engineering team to develop Plugin/software in line with the requirement(s) of the client and test the functionality and deliver the Plugin/software to satisfaction of the Clients. The candidate shall ensure the efficient functionality of the Plugin/software & ground application of the same and should be able of quickly resolve/modify issue(s) to ensure smooth syncing between the developed Plugin and the Architectural software. The ideal candidate should be highly self-motivated, quick in providing resolutions, adept at understanding the client needs with exceptional communication skills and should be capable/responsible to undertake end to end execution of the project(s).

Day-to-day role:

• Meeting clients (Architects/Builders/Contractors) to understand their software/plugin requirements.
• Develop outlines & concepts based on client’s requirement(s) for the AI based Plugin/software along with the Product Engineering Team.
• Guide the Product Engineering team to Develop Plugin/software ensuring standards and compliances.
• Ensure the development of the Plugin/software as per the client requirements while testing the functionality & application of the software.
• Delivery of the software to the clients, as per the requirements and proper explanation(s)/reasoning & functionality issues in case of deviations from the requirements.
• Provide quick resolutions to client queries and create add-ons if situation demands.
• Testing and helping in Updating the AI based plugins/software’s as per Industry requirements.
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities within the company to enhance skills and knowledge in software development.

Required skills & qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Experience in the field of Architecture.
• Knowledge of Imperial and Metric system(s) to cater UK & US clients and familiarity with different construction materials used.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a must along with basic working knowledge of C++/Python.
• Highly self-motivated, self-driven with exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to independently execute complete projects, end to end.
• Degree in Architecture or related field.
