Client previously operated using the paper-based system to manage their supply teachers and schools. This meant the risk of losing data, lack of reporting capabilities, as well as the difficulty of training new employees to handle bookings and payroll.

All Teachers had to be manually paired with bookings, and payroll had to be done using multiple third-party software solutions, effectively decentralising the payroll system.

They required a bespoke software solution that would not only fit their business model, but also upgrade it through automation, reporting, and user-friendliness. They also aimed for flexibility for both the teachers and schools they work with, allowing both to access their information through their own login portals.

We've provided the custom teachers portal to improve the efficiency and accessibility of the business. Implementing features such automated confirmation emails, and security checks and notifications for teachers stored on the system allowed for the removal of many manual tasks from the business model.

Using a bespoke, advanced search algorithm the manual task of checking teacher availability and matching them with open bookings was removed from the workflow.

The system integrates with Sage for payroll and invoicing, creating a seamless workflow into a service that employees were already familiar with, increasing efficiency and eliminating processes like copying and pasting into excel sheets.

The system is easily and securely accessible from anywhere at any time thanks to web-based software hosting, allowing for a highly adaptable daily workflow.
