Cloud Accountancy CRM software system

The client started designing the concept following the Chancellor's MTD announcement in the Spring budget of 2015 that all small businesses would be required to submit their accounts online by using a cloud-based system from 2019. Other accounting programmes appeared to be too complicated to use without a degree in accounting knowledge or at least 'A Level' mathematics. How would small business owners cope with the move to online accounting?

The client then waited a long time to find the right partner as all other software companies were quoting more than £100,000 and demanding at least 40% upfront, which was a big commitment! 

When we met Karen for the first time, we asked a straightforward question: "we're ready to take your money and build you the software, but you can explain why would anyone subscribe to your offer over the existing offers?" Karen replied by saying that yes, there are other cloud accounting software out there, but they all are for accountants to use, and I would like to create one which doesn't use accounting jargon and can be used by tradespeople with little to no training.

Dod-dle has been designed to be an easy to use and simple to understand website whilst providing outstanding bookkeeping and producing a complete set of accounts. It uses a cloud-based system that is expandable to any level to accommodate a vast amount of data. The front-end is responsive, which means it can be accessed from a laptop, desktop, tablet, or even a smartphone anywhere and anytime.

The subscription-based Dod-dle accounting system is easy to use and simple to understand. This means that a lot of the clever stuff, such as working out the tax or calculating percentages etc., goes on in the background. All you have to do is to answer a few straightforward questions. Dod-dle doesn't use any long-complicated words that require specialist knowledge and doesn't need you to understand double entry (it's an accounting term). We make the whole process of bookkeeping as simple as possible.

We are also working very closely with HMRC to ensure that when you are required to start filing your accounts online, Dod-dle will be there to do the job for you so that you don't have to worry.
