Exciting news for award-winning local software business

The staff of Northampton’s Web Alliance Limited have begun 2022 in a celebratory mood … and with good reason! Late last year, the Institute of Directors presented their coveted IoD Midlands Director of the Year Award 2021 to Managing Director, Ashish Kumar.

The awards committee were quick to explain the reasons behind presenting the award to Ashish –

“The combination of the pandemic and Brexit have required directors to react quickly and creatively under difficult operating conditions, and this year more than ever, we want to celebrate you as an outstanding director.”

Ashish, founder of the Northampton-based bespoke software development specialist, found himself both surprised and delighted.

“This award means so much to all of us at Web Alliance,” he explains. “We are, in every sense of the word, a ‘family’ business. The philosophy of looking after our clients and our team is at the core of everything we do. We started our journey as a sole trader with a handful of customers and, from that small beginning, we have grown to a multi-employee business with offices on two continents.”
